Volunteer Family Connect (VFC) - Volunteer in-home support
The Volunteer Family Connect Program offers support to families with children birth to 5 years living in the Macarthur, Wollondilly, Shellharbour and Taree areas. The program trains volunteers and matches them with families in the community. Volunteers provide support to families in their parenting role to adjust to a new baby, cope with multiple children, overcome feelings of isolation and frustration. VFC in Taree specifically supports the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. For more information see the VFC brochure here.
